I have a false tooth cause it got knocked out by a golf club (I know ouch) and I need to get a permanent implant in soon, obviously my tooth had to be removed cause it was cracked right down the middle so I didn't have it removed but you can definitely get implants, my false tooth will be attached to a nail which will have been drilled into my gum (don't worry my mouth will be numbed).

I wouldn't do it if you have to wait to have at least month for a new one put in cause you would have to get a false one so the whole doesn't close up this costs a lot of money also if you did decied to get a false one you always have to take it out for when you go swimming, skiing etc......

Have fun! (not really)

The simplest material is alginate, about USD$15 per pound. Can only be used once before it dries out and distorts. Reasonably accurate.
Next best is vinyl poly siloxane (VPS), about USD $23 per pound. Can be repeatedly reused, very accurate.
Slightly better again is polyether, but more expensive again.
I'd suggest a model shop would have some cheaper suggestions, or if you really want some dental impression materials, then a dental lab would have cheaper stuff than dental surgeries.
References :
Whoa....you don't want to get your permanent teeth extracted, in fact I would be totally shocked if a reputable dentist would voluntarily take them out....Look, Implants when they work, are great...however, implants are working on a national average of about 82%....A major issue is that there are no current tests that can determine if your body will accept the implants with a 100% guarantee...The fact is, your far better off with crooked natural teeth than you are with implants that might go bad...here's my advice to make you look good. Go to a dentist and get evaluated with regard to having Porcelain Veneers created and placed over your crooked natural teeth...The Veneers can be made in a variety of shapes, thickness and color. Get that evaluation before you give further consideration about implants. Good luck and I wish you well.
References :
Yes if you can find a dentist who will do it. But be advised dental implants are tremendously expensive. I had one done and it cost me $2700 to replace one tooth.
References :
The most common material used to take impressions of the mouth is called ALGINATE, it's in a powder form which you mix together with water.
Not sure where you can actually get it yourself to be honest, why not try asking at your local dental surgery if they may be kind enough to let you have a sample of theirs!!!
References :
Me-Registered Dental Nurse

AS A DENTIST I CAN ANSWER THIS EASILY.
THE MOST COMMON IS A POWDER YOU MIX WITH WATER IT'S CALLED ALGINATE.
THE OLD ORIGINAL VERSION SOMETINES USED TODAY IS CALLED RUBBER BASE COMPOUND.
A MORE MODERN AND EXPENSIVE FORM IS IN AUTO-MIX CARTRIDGE AND CAN BE OF SEVERALVARIETIES AND PROPERTIES.
FOR MAKING MODELS ALGINATE IS A COST-EFFECTIVE OPTION. AS THIS MATERIAL DOESN'T LAST INDEFINITELY, RUBBER BASE IS THE ALTERNATIVE. HOWEVER, FOR MAKING MODELS OF THE MOUTH DENTAL TRAYS WHICH HOLD THE IMPRESSION MATERIAL ARE NEEDED.
TO GET SUCH TRAYS THEY NEED TO PROPERLY FIT YOUR MOUTH. ASK IF YOUR DENTIST IS WILLING TO LET YOU HAVE A FEW.
