Dr Klein graduated from NYU Dental School in 1980. He entered private practice while continuing his training at the Misch Implant Institute at Pittsburg Medical Center. He has earning recognition as a Fellow of the Misch Implant Institute and Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. As a lecturer, Dr Klein lectured extensively in Europe as part of the FQA dental implant training team.
In addition, Dr Klein is licensed in parenteral conscious sedation allowing a more comfortable treatment experience for the anxious dental patient. He also holds certification for multiple dental laser frequencies and applications

Letsshare sponsors a dental project in Cebu. Dentists from Scandinavia come here as a volunteer, arranged by “Rise Above Cebu”. Eric and Cathy went there. Just to make some pictures and cover the project. By the way, do you know that 40% of the people here are having toothache every day, And did you know that getting money to send your children to school is already an impossible job, but then finally they go to school. Yes, you made it. But they have to stay absent because of toothache. Hey, a dentist is not affordable here. Cathy might have been able to pay for a dentist but she was very affraid because of very bad experiences with local dentists. But she has 4 teeth that were so rotten that extraction was the only solution. This girl was so scared, but in the end we convinced her to get the treatment. In the end she got her toothbrush.. What color do you want…there is only one color…YELLOW! !! !!!! !!!!!!!!

The Town of Lonely Dentists

18 June 2009 – Palomas is the little border town that discount dentistry built. There are the usual liquor stores and curio venders, and even  a cantina with a Statute of Liberty on the roof. But mostly the streets are  lined with storefront clinics offering crowns, dentures, cleanings.  Walk-ins welcome! As the sign promises: American standards at Mexican  prices, where a porcelain filling and a shot of Novocain will set you  back about $60. 

We went looking for dentists to talk about the hard times created by the storms of violence along the border. In the video, you can meet Jesus Jasso Salazar, who came here a decade ago to make his living with a drill  and learned to say open wide in English. Most of his patients were  Americans, until they got scared away by sudden surge in kidnappings and  killings. Jasso used to be busy all day long in his two-chair clinic. Now  he sits reading books in his own waiting room. 

Thats the thing about drug violence. It can hollow out a place.  Dentists have been the bedrock of this community for years. Now theyre  moving on.
